According to the report, one firm in China won IPR lawsuit against Schneider. May be this is good news for China's IPR protection. At present, a few firms in China notice whether their patents or trademarks were infringed.

But in another hand, the World Trade Organization (WTO) has established an expert panel at the request of the United States to probe whether China has taken sufficient action to protect intellectual property rights (IPR).

It is a long way for Chinese firms need to go. No matter to protect their own or not to infringe other members' IPR.

Have anbody got the way to solve these problem? What's your comment on these issues?[em1]

Any kind of abuse (no exceptions!) is mostly a mental/cultural problem, and you can imagine how hard it is to change this kind of situation. It's not impossible, though. Some individuals are able to turn around a whole country. You have seen it in your own country, the Turks have seen it under Kamal Ataturk, the Cubans under Castro, etc. So let's hope and wait for another "miracle".

Yes, it's still a long way to go for China to carry out any IPR protection measures. On the one hand, the laws and regulations regarding IPR issue in China is still not very complete &perfect. On the other hand, there are too many companies in China and some of them have no sense of IPR issue in China, this is why you can see countless replicas or fakes in China. [em1][em1]
