If your price not acceptable (The price difference is large) then the customer do not reply. So, after quoting the price ask the customer about local market price.  if your price is acceptable and your product quality is good, customer must reply to you.

There are 3 cases for not receiving a reply :

[A] If I am a honest buyer, these are some reasons not to give a reply to you:

1) your quotation is much higher than others, so I suppose we can not negotiate

2) your quotation is good, but I have already enough offers, and I can not contact all of them for further information or negotiayion because of time

3) your quotation is good, but unfortunately your message went to "spam" folder (i don't know why, but it happened very often regardless mail program I used)

4) your quotation is for another product, even if I ask very clearly and gave you complete informations about what I need, so I decide not to ask you again

[B] If I am not a honest buyer (a competitor of you, or a "walking around buyer") it's obvious that i will not reply to you, because I am not interested.

[C] I reply to you, but you don't get my message (went to "spam", deleted by mistake,...)

Good luck, do your best and don't worry, there are so many situations when it is not your fault when you get no reply

Hi Linda,

It depends on the product you are selling, if its something cheap and easy to use, like digital product, you should review your marketing strategy, service conditions and so on.

In case these are industrial equipment or things like that, then try to establish a more personal relationship with your buyer. It has several benefits:

First, you have the opportunity to customize your offer, then you can also convince your clients your offer is the best of all.

Don't forget that personal relashionships are hugely important! Good luck!

Linda , It so call  Effective words and strategy  in sales-correspondence !                            here

 1. Not fix Price, offer a range of  low and medium price figure, this will make him/her revert to you for confirmation.

2.Flexibility,  send a brief note that the price is negotiable ! ...the order also no minimum quantity limitation, customize design made to order, and more possibility for him/her.

 3. Pro Active,  send him/her more picture/details info etc, even they do not ask !! telling that you are well- experiences  in this offer  products/services..                                                                                                                               4. Do Not,  push in selling words, but ask politely they need and requirements first.

good luck  Linda

Dear Linda,

I can give reply from the view of the customer, which can be interesting for you. Please do not forget that customer is asking several suppliers to choose the best one, comparing the reliability, price, quality of the product, payment terms, delivery terms etc. From this mix is for sure the most important price, so if you offer high price the customer will not answer you and will focus on someone else with better price. This situation you can avoid with small notice that the price is negotiable. If there is no answer anyway, you have keep talking with the customer, what is wrong and why he is refusing you offer. Then you talk about the advantages you can offer beside the price (quality, payment term, delivery, services after delivery etc). Please do not forget that you as a sales person are the most free person and you can choose your way how to deal with the people. But the open mind, sedulity and patience are the best advises.

Have a nice day

Not only quote a figure number of prices,  but  the advantage and  the services.

And  the most  Important is  the payment system that you gonna offer it.
