Yes. The best thing British did to India while leaving the country in 1947 is English.
English is taught in primary school level and all professional courses are taught in English.
Hence the advantage.

India has better Communication skills is as correct as US being a world Power...
Communication skills r skills for making our point understandable to thers, which I think we fellow Indians r best at ..
English being a world language and being taught us from primary standard only helps to sharpen the skills..
If Knowing English would have been the only criteria than all English Speaking countries would be ahead..
The skill lies not only in language but in how to use it...
I think an average Indian has a very good communication skills, thats why we have very good distribution ntwok , because distribution chains work only on communication skills....

Replying to [Amzy]:Communication skills are based on numerous qualities. Knowing how to speak a particular language is only a small fraction of communication skills. One has to know how to express thoughts into words in a way that is understood by all cultures.

Replying to [Amzy]:I have quite some communication with India. The english skills are very good.
When it comes to communication, it's another story.
About half our contacts are very good and professional in communicating their product specifications.
The other half is very poor in communicating. I can ask about 3 details regarding specification or lack of, and get one half answer.
