Open your eyes when you deal with this seller-www.allwalk.com

An US buyer was planning to place an order with an HK company.
She got the proforma invoice from this company already.
She would like me to verify that company before paying them the payment.
It is coincidence that I have an associate in HK.
So I think I can help that buyer a lot.
I have asked my associate to call that HK company. Before she called, I told my associate to talk to the supplier like this: when the supplier answer the phone, tell them that you will come to their office for a look. If everything seems good, the US buyer will place the order. Then we will assiste to follow the order. When the order is ready, we will go there for inspection and pick up the goods there.
Later, my associate told me that she called them several times, no body answered the phone. But finally, somebody answered it, but they said there is no that company here.
(I am quite sure that the tel No.is correct. As I got it from the buyer and from the supplier's website)
Then I called that company myself from my city several times, same, no body answer.
I began to understand that that HK company dare not to answer any local or Chinese phones to avoid any troubles.
I reported the above to the buyer, I also told her that if you don’t believe what I said, you can write to them that your agency have an office in HK, you will send someone to have a look….(as the above).
The buyer wrote to that seller as what I said. The seller refused to do business with her. (I forgot what my buyer exactly told me, but I realize my buyer said the seller gave her an excuse to stop the business)
After several days, they sent an email to my buyer to abuse she is a liar. It is quite ridiculous!!!!
These two days, I got an email from my another buyer. She wrote like this:
Hi jasmine,
I was looking in the alibaba form and I found a company that makes small order quantity for custom design apparel and fashion things. www.allwalk.com
I have contacted them but am not sure if this comapny is authentic.. I have read there forum on there web site and many people have ordered from them..
I have checked on the internet about them and nothing has come up that looks fishy..
Do you think it is possible?
I told her the above story. She is happy that she didn't lose her money also.
And I realise that this company maybe famous, and seems many buyers contact them. That is why I put my post here.
Be careful!

I do think a forum like this would reveal many other scammers on this useful website.
Since alibaba.com does not provide a feedback forum, which in many ways would help suppliers/buyers to gain trust of each other.
Actually alfaoliva, alibaba has a few discussion forums here dedicated to posting feedback about good and bad suppliers, as well as verifying new ones. Check out the Safe Trading forums. I believe that this is what you are referring to above.

Because I buy from them.
No need to answer those questions. Because any company will react differently to different inquires, it is very normal. Because there are many troublesome pretended buyers, in fact some just want to collect information as a research process and to see whether they can jump into the same business is profitable or not, some after blah blah blah just want to get free samples, some just want to get the product photos to show on their new venture of internet online selling by a website and to get business then only they place the order to anywhere who can do the similar at the lowerest prices, some are actually too arrogant in the inquiry process, and some are the competitors disguise. And most of the complaints and disguised complaints are made by those wasting other people time of doing geniune business, and some maybe from those competitors disguise.
Hahaha, many kinds of different people in the world. Not like what you think so straight forward. So, I said don't believe in what they said, ask allwalk.com yourselves to see yourselves. If you are a good geniune buyer and with good attitude, what you need to afraid of asking???

Some people not so straight forward? I think I know what you mean.
You seem to have an awful lot of knowledge of the hardships that allwalk.com goes through and their reasons for not answering customer enquiries. Certainly a lot more knowledge than the average customer!
All of the things that you list may be true but all of them are just part of the business. They may certainly be good reasons to give up but they are all poor excuses for bad customer service.
I am not saying that allwalk.com is bad. I have had nothing to do with them personally so I just don't know. But as you seem to have knowledge about the way that they think Pluswoman perhaps you can guess at an answer as to why they do not answer their phone? Is it as Jasmine suggests, that you don't take calls from Mainland China? That is okay, but I am curious as to why?

Did you try to telephone them yourself? Are you just listening to what that person said then you believe? If someone call you, but you are not at your office, or in the meeting, no one pick up the phone, does it mean that you are actually not working at that office, and there is no that office at all? Can the telephone be malfunction? Or does it means that no one pick up that phone meaning the company is not too big and not affordable to employ many more staff just to answer the possible checking phone call from that claimed nobody from nowhere in the telephone line world !!!??? Just too many of these kinds of "Funny person", funny thinking.
I will not waste my time here anymore to react to this kind of childish arguments. Bye.

I really am not getting a good impression of Hong Kong based businesses on this forum. First that Magbaza thing and now this one. Posts made in favor of the companies by people purporting to be customers but that are clearly employees. No real answers to legitimate questions posed. And an overtly aggressive attitude in replies.
Perhaps these are just isolated cases. Perhaps the fact that Chinese suppliers are now able to deal direct with customers undermines the stronghold that HK based trading companies once had as the doorway to China.
What I do know is that I would never recommend dealing with a company that cannot show the respect to customer and/or potential customers by answering legitimate questions in a mature fashion. It is hard enough dealing direct with suppliers. I can't see the value of a middle man with bad attitude! But that's just me.

I would like to take this once for all opportunity to state my case by replying a email inquiry re this topic here. Below is a copy of the content of my reply to that customer. Whether you guy agree or not, it is the way I do business. Thanks for all of your attentions. I will not response to any accuses here anymore. Times is too short to argue and argue.

1. it is right that without a detail spec of special fabric material, we only quote by using normal non-expensive fabrics. For geniune leather and high class wool, price are really have big difference, as you know, the best always has the best, meaning the cost can be from medium high to very very high. Thus, you better tell me what price range you want to afford so that we can buy the appropiate cost of fabrics for manufacturing.
2. re that story, I think you better help me to blast her back, because I don't have time to response like that and even if I did so, no one will believe in me who state the case as a victim there. The story is simple.
a) if someone call you or you phone on the desk, you are not there, or simply in the toilet. Does it mean you are a faked company or a liar ???
b) I don't want to do her business or whoever they were, just because she/they are impolite and immature, you can tell by seeing her/their acts of complainting like that with those foolish reasons.
c) I choose customers the same as they or you choose suppliers, it is no big deal if I don't feedback to her, am I a fool or a liar ??? You tell me.

Allwalk it is good to hear your version.
1. You are right to point out that the quality of materials is vital for ensuring that price and product are correct. What was the customer's problem with this?
2. The original complaint was about repeatedly not answering your phone. You are right that this does not make you a fake company, but it makes it difficult to do business with you. If you are away from the phone so often perhaps you should invest in a secretary, a message service, or an answering machine. You could be losing valuable business while you are not at your desk.
Out of curiosity. What about the accusation that you do not entertain contact with Chinese mainlanders? Is there any truth in that?

Well done AllWalk for your response. I am currently in the process of making an order from AllWalk and i have been very pleased with the customer service, help and advice - I intend on being a long term customer!
Unless you have actually ordered from the company and lost money/ not received your order, how can you say that they are not legitimate? Thats just not fair!!
