I do not know anyone that is processing the oil in Africa yet. but if the oil is in Nigeria and the Company is in the U.S and the Lawyer is in Italy then beware they will ask for cash along the way for loading or to bribe Government official.

Replying to [Sherry]:So far they have not asked for cash, and they claim to have a ship loaded and ready to go now. They said they will supply me with SGS certificate, and I have also asked for the name of the ship. All they are asking for is my proof of funds, and ofcourse and LC once I begin the purchase contract. They are even offering a 2% PB. I cant figure out what their angle is. USDA has told me there is no way they have the rapeseed oil in Nigeria.

Do you happen to know how many hectares of rapeseed are planted, or what the volume of seed produced is?

What are they currently using the seed for if they are growing it, but not crushing it?

There was a time when i was looking for 1 million mt Rapeseedb oil for a customer and i had to research this here in Nigeria i went everywhere until i got to all this Government research agencies in Nigeria like Fiiro and iita Nigeria. and they are paid for this they told me that there is a little bit of rapeseed here not export quantity and no one is pressing it for oil its used locally. so that prompt me to write this article. Belive me when i tell you there is none here. I have done my research very well.
