Today (Sept. 26th, 2007) is Chinese traditional Moon Festival. Parks in Guangzhou are all dressed up for the celebration.
Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street.
Colorful lanterns and beautiful flowers make Baiyun Mountain a wonderful place to enjoy a full moon during the festival. A Mid-autumn Lantern Exhibition will be held in Mingchun Valley, which will present 6 large lantern decoration works.
Culture Park is another good choice for the festival. Over 3,000 lanterns will light up the whole park tonight. A performance will also be held in the park.
Liuhua Lake Park presents two exhibitions today: Firebug Exhibition and Children Painting Exhibition. Drawings of 250 kindergarten children will be on show.
