Like everything else in life, there is always risk vs rewards. In fact, the higher the risks, the greater is the rewards.

However in business, we need to take calculated risks. Due diligence is also necessary to ensure success. One of the best tip I can give is to use the internet in all its strength and google a little about your intended partner before jumping headlong into the deal.

As a member of the open source community where we have close connections from all members around the world, normally I would get a local scout assistance to check out my intended supplier. Do contact me if you need any assistance.

Alternatively try to use proven branded wholesalers or even online hypermarkets systems like Demandby, since they do rigorous checks on their suppliers before allowing any of them in.

Moreover I have seen tens of thousands of Ebay trading agents have begun to use them since their affiliate portal is empowered with business tracking, accounting and more to ensure tranparent and accountable transactions for all parties from consumers, affiliates to manufacturers. On top of the fact that their "Direct Model" concept actually enable cheaper pricing for the customers.

dear admin. I would like to post a summary of a friend of mine. I think it is worth reading.
"We are also really interested to do business with African countries provided they tranfer 100%TT in advance. We had lot of problems with African buyers especially West African buyers regarding payment and L/C. So we have decided to deal with them only by 100% TT. Secondly they will ask for free samples of rather bigger quantity and they will keep quiet. We have lost a big amount of money by sending free samples to them. Now we send free samples if they furnish C.O.D account number of any international courier service, for eg., DHL. Samples will be free of cost, but they have to pay freight charges. If you know reliable buyers from Africa, we are very happy to do business with them. In some of the African countries, we have to register our products with the respective health Ministry for the approval and the buyer will never pay the registration charges; on the other hand we are asked to pay huge amount of the registration charges directly to them and afterwards no reply. There are so many gimics in African business. We are really afraid of African buyers. But there are reliable & trustworthy buyers also in Africa. But we have to identify them, which is too difficult.

Replying to [Admin]:i think it is depond on the credit of client,such our products are major sells to africa, we have many client in africa,but i find it is good expcet some place are not good at credit ,but i think we should take some risk and believe for our client,just take care the payment firstly .
