Hi! I am from Spain and 2 weeks ago I bought 5 laptops for my bussiness place in a company called Sapi Emas, from Indonesia, and I have not received them yet, and also my person contact does not reply my e mails. Do you think that I have been a victim fraud, or I have to be patient and wait more? I am very worried. Thank you very much

it seem that you hv some body in indonesia, why don't u just send him the money, of course youknow him better than you just buy on line. laptop you can find at any computer shop at good prices. however if you hv paid online, you can check their website and find out the address. ask ur contact to visit them with receipt on hand. then ask what's going on with your purchase. next time don't trust people by sending money earlier, unless they re reliable importers/traders.best regards

I suggest you can get help from someone that you know in Jakarta to find out what happen to your laptops. It could be fake company or just middle man and he just want to use this oppotunity to cheat you.
Please aware when you wish to deal with person especially involve big cash.

Thank you.

Hi, I have already call this company and the name of this company is PD.Karya Mitra Usaha(It is trading company).

It seems allright, but i suggest you to make all clear first before send some money. If you will order in huge quantity, I suggest you to come to Indonesia and meet the company for some inspection.

You can also ask the Department of Industry, Trade, and Cooperation of Bogor City where the company established.

The phone number of Department is +62 251 326661and ask to meet Head of Foreign Trade Division (In Indonesia: Kabid Perdagangan Luar Negeri).Or you can contact by email at diperindagkop@kotabogor.go.id.

If you still have a problem, please visit www.nafed.go.id or you can e-mail me at mpointtarakan@yahoo.com.

It is sad to hear Indonesia is full of scammers in Alibaba, I did meet some reliable trader in www.kaskus.us.

I myself is a business owner for 10 years in Batam, Indonesia.

Some point to check if you wanna deal with indonesia company.

1. Always deal with company.
Ask for the legal letter
a.SIUP : letter to operate a business from minister of trade, indicate business nature.
b. NPWP: letter to prove the company is tax payee
c. TDP : letter by local government contain the company address and in charge person(Director)

There are 3 type of business registering in Indonesia
UD : small scale of business
CV : small to medium scale of business
PT : medium to big scale of business

2. Never T/T transfer, you may always go for L/C or if they insist T/T, make sure the account name is same with the 3 letter mention in point no.1

3. Always ask for reliable reference. You may crosscheck with other member should you are not sure.

4. Always deal with company, else you know the person well and have been active trading online and good rapport.

Hope the information above is helpfull and you all do not give to trade with indonesian, just be more carefull. It is true, troublesome to trade with unhonest person, even in traditional way. In business and investment quote : No Pain No gain...

warmest regards

Hi,

Thank's for your correction. Bogor is one hour from Jakarta. And I need at least 3 hour, from my city, by plane to reach Jakarta.
so, You can be right.

call the company is one thing that I can do right now, but I also give a suggestion to contact local Department of trade. They can help to verify the company. Or the best way, please come to Indonesia to see them and do some inspection. The easy way is to find Indonesia Embassy in your country and ask them to help you.

thank's wilhelm

best regards
