Replying to [Tony_C_Lin]:Dear Tony, they are many european sellers able to ship the scrap in containers.
Is preferable to sell in bulk because for containers they are extra costs and more work to charge each of them.Usually can fit 18-24.5 Mt/FCL 20".
The price depend if is HMS1,HMS1/2 or Used rails,if is a spot shipment or long term contract .Also will be more cheap if you buy it directly from a scrap yard, but this is a little difficult.Big exporters or re sellers pay in advance or in cash to the scrap yards.

Replying to [Tony_C_Lin]: Because of the transportation chages (which is the biggest hitch for export/import) got reduce for bulk containers.

Why aren't they interested in buying herbal cosmetics in bulk, If any of them interested please let me know. [em1]

Replying to [Tony_C_Lin]:
Dear Tony,
European and Americans are not interested in small shipment per container because for small shipment they prefer dropship orders to their customer directly form China or elswhere exporters country thus they need not to burden themselves with the overhead cost and repacking and retransportation in thier land.
Thanks,
Banik

Replying to [Tony_C_Lin]: This is not the case with only Eurpeon sellers. This applies to all the sellers all over the world whether they are from Europe or US or UAE. Metal Scrap is such a item which cannot be sold in small lots because of the economic reasons. They are the stock lots and accordingly their prices are quoted at the rock bottom prices per MT and not in KGs. In such a situation, no one would prefer to bear the higher freight cost per MT by paying for the full container for the quantity which is the half of the container load.

Moreover, freight and forwarding companies too would find difficult to manage bookings of metal scarps from two different suppliers for two different buyers in one container. It is normally a loose item and are not packed in corrugerated boxes. Therefore it is just not possible for the shipper to carry two different consignments from two different suppliers.

Any other item which is not a metal scarp or a commodity (like pulses, rice, wheat etc.) or fertilizers, can be booked and shipped as LCL without any problem.

Reagrding other specifice questions of tarrifs and the weights per containers, replies have alraedy been given above by the learned members which can be used as your reference.
