I would welcome business from Middle East but my line is not construction-related. I export handicrafts. So if you have some advice for me I would appreciate it. Mabuhay!

Replying to [All]: Hi to all of you guys who responded with interest but carry different products than what we are looking for, be informed that I would keep your names in my database. Should I find some local businessmen who are in need of your products, then I will get in touch with you. FYI, my company does seawater desalination plants as EPC/BOT contractor. My task is to source out for equipment vendors related to our field. Thanks to your interest.[em37]

Replying to [Jack ]:Hi Jack,
Well it depends on the product you are dealing with. Competition from other countries selling goods similar to yours may put the price demanded by local businessmen here too low for you. It's a case-to-case basis. I would say that this place is still a good place to do business because most people (local and expats) has the money to buy goods. For example, I noted here a lot of clothing and textile shops, thereby pushing the prices down. Consumer electronics (tv, cellphone, digicams, computers, etc.) are also fllooding the market. Hence, prices are down in few months.[em1]

I respect your opinion and I hope at the right time you will consider this market.[em17]
