I recently purchased a tomtom GO910 from this sellers. I was told that i would receive what was sent to me in the picture. I received some crappy copied version, that only had half of my country.

The seller told me that they did not tell me it was original or even what i was sent in the picture. I have the chat transcripts to prove it.

Alibaba help is useless. They want me to prove in a court that i was scammed. RIGHT i am in Australia and they are in China.

How can Alibaba sit back while people are being scammed. People think that people with trustpass membership are safe. NOT TRUE

Previous due diligence, as sample knowing that all this offered Brand Items are not avaliable in China for less than elsewhere, should have saved you the paid money !
You could read this in hundrets of postings !!!

Second reading first, the Terms of Use of a B2B website had informed you about that, what you now complain here, no help & no responsibility !

Third, a look on their website had informed you about their real adress :
ADDNo.129 Jian An Rd. Chengxiang District Putian P.R.ChinaZIP351100
Putian, the scammer capital from China !

Fourth, from what company you have buyed the ""TOMTOM"" from this here "Quanzhou" as posted, or did you make the same mistake once more with Fuzhou Hailian Trade Industry Co., Ltd.. as you stated to buy from in an other reply ?

I am only new to Alibaba, so i have learnt my lesson. I did not come on this forum to complain. Simply to let other buyers know of the company's name, so they don't get sucked in.

When i purchased the item, i know it was a copy, but was assured that it looked exactly like the original. I was happy with this. I even asked the seller that i wanted to talk to the CEO of the company. I was then put on to the CEO, i was then re-assured that i would receive what i was sent in the picture.
After i received the item, i actually looked for and found the CEO's contact details. It turned out that i did not speak to the CEO, just the seller saying i was talking to the CEO. Therefore i could not get any help, because that person had been 'fired'.

I have learnt now not to buy unless i do my research. This 'trustpass' and 'gold supplier' is very misleading, it implies that the company is trustworthy, CRAP.

I just want to find a good seller.

Replying to [Rhys]:[em5] I was scammed by this same company as well. I wanted to buy an item which they assured me was original and even went to the extend of showing it to me through the webcam of it's authenticity. I saw the item and i believed that it was what i was going to get. But it turned out that what i received was exactly the opposite. NOT AT ALL like what i seen in the video.

I know what the differences are and i think, someone needs to do something about Alibaba. I know there are tons of innocent people who just want to do honest trade online but we fall into this filthy trap because Alibaba gives them gold or trustpass unworthily.

Someone needs to do something. Is there someone who can do something or have experience solving this kind of scam ?
