Replying to [tradejfk]: The questions you ask are to complex and it is rather difficult to give you one answer.

If you decided to get involved into Export/Import - you already know what you're looking for and only time will show you if it's right for you.

Who should enter this business - ourdays I think (truly) - anyone can! (it is just the question of who will be successful).

A beginner should consider: learning, sticking to one objective first and see it done, then move further.

Your questions are very open ended and therefore very difficult to answer with any degree of certainty, however I would think that one should start out with products that one has knowledge about and sell to markets that one is familiar with. Once you have the ball rolling then you can expand into other products and markets.

So ask yourself - what products do you know well or would you have an interest in learning about? And what markets are you familiar with? I think that the answers to these questions will guide you in the right direction.
