I have also been looking at trading with this company, adn what I have been told is this:
"I quite understand your doubt. I might have more doubt if I were in your shoes. But what I'd like to say is that all the products we sell are original. We have been doing very well for more than 20 years in this line with no complaint of counterfeit products. As you can find our company history in our website as ff:
Superufo.com was founded in September 1981 to distribute a superior range of videogame accessories for home computers and games consoles, e.g. Apple II, Atari, Sony Playstation, Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn/Dreamcast, and Playstation 2 etc.

In 1991, Superufo.com start his own R&D team and sub-contract with his own video game accessories.
In 1997, Superufo.com buy 50% of his UK's agent to expend his business in Europe.
In 1998, Superufo.com increase investment for the R&D business in UK.
In 1998, Establish Office in Germany.
In 1998, USA Office Established.
In 1999 September, Superufo.com starting distribute Computer Accessories in Hong Kong.
In 2000, Superufo.com Mainland China office established.
In 2001, Two-distribution office located in Shamshuipo and main office located Lai Chi Kok to serve our customer demand.
In 2002, Superufo.com Go to E-Business, invest over US$50,000 for the web-base application. "

Trouble is where's the independent confirmation...

I will be watching this thread with interest and won't be parting with any money till I'm satisfied!

Replying to [marti]:Hello, I was also considering using your service, but as always, I find out that you may be a fraud. I have a solution to put this all to rest. If you are legitimate as you say you are, allow for me (us) to use an escrow service. This way, you get your money, and we get our products. Alibaba says that this is what legitimate companies use, and if they do not want to use an escrow they usually have something to hide. It is sort of putting your money where your mouth is.

I would like to use you or someone, but all I am finding is scams out there when I conduct my research. What I have learned and hopefully everyone that reads these blogs will learn is that you CANNOT engage in business with any of these companies unless you use an escrow. You should never send unsecured funds to someone that is unknown.

If you were to turn the tables, these companies would not send you say, 100 products of theirs without you paying. How about we ask for them to send us 100 products and we will then send their money when we get around to it. The only way to have a secure relationship is to use an escrow.

The question for you at SuperUFO is, will you put your money where your mouth is and allow for us to all do business with you the right way and allow for an escrow?[em20]

Replying to [marti]:This reply doesn't really address our question/problem. We want some security. One person indicated that they lost $5k. I don't have $5k to give away. One of the warnings that Alibaba warns is just blindly wiring unsecured funds. Therefore, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and allow for an escrow service to ensure that YOU get paid and WE get our products? It is just business. You lose nothing. Therefore, there is no legitimate reason that you would not want to use this service. You would definately increase business, which I assume is your goal.

Put your money where your mouth is and allow us to use an escrow--you lose nothing if you are legitimate. If you are a fraud, you would not be able to just take our money and run.

Let me put it to you another way: would your company send us the products without us paying? It would be like you sending us products, to another country not China, and hoping that we just pay you. Then, when we receive the products, we don't pay. You know absolutely nothing about me. Therefore, you have no way to get this money back. That is what we (the customer) are facing. Therefore, the ONLY solution is an escrow. I have no clue why you guys are so affraid of the escrow!

I have used SuperUFO twice with success and I have no problem, plus they always have good communication. [em19]

I suspect that $5,000 thing is, err, a scam. A prank. Who would spend that amount atraight away at a new store? Stupid. You'd do a little first, IF you could find that much to spend on, which itself is doubtful. [em15]

Anyway, surely one has little to lose this way, using PayPal. I doubt any card details can be got, as you don't enter them.[em18]

And, oh, maybe these stores' systems aren't setup for escrow. It's just not worth the bother for a select few.

There is always someone who says a store is fraud. I suspect half the time because of a lack of communication or a shipping loss, or worse. A bit odd that gsac [AU]  has lost both 5 laptops from COMPAC LIMITED and $5,000 from SuperUfo. when you click his name.

I purchased details of superufo re a business package on ebay, bit concerned that 3 emails later no reply from the ebayer, note the following.

1. on attempt to enter superufo site direct, browser rejects address as invalid. I go to a search engine, enter superufo & enter via a product eg superufo + nintendo & get onto the site

2. Even on broadband site keeps you in download *, 5 mins to load 2 pages, make a cuppa, watch the paint dry.......Spent quite a lot of time just getting familiar with the site, maybe open several windows at a time

3. Told to register as a wholesaler, as wholesalers recieve a "substantial" discount - quote ebayer. Cannot see any wholesale prices despite successful registration, raised a query with the co. told to scroll down page to see wholesale prices below, if so must register as disabled (partially sighted) tried a specimen purchase $50.45 offered item for $49.04

4 site & communication contain several typos, which concerns me, confused over wether there is a 3% surcharge if purchasing through paypal, can anyone out there clarify as with ebay fees, paypal fees and if superufo fees can one make a profit?

2nd post - another forum raises the question of VAT payable in UK suggests evading the 20% due on an item is not worth the risk of being detained in one of HMP's. So if we add this to the equation, I can't see how one makes a profit eg mario kart game on ebay for approx. £30, costs approx £30 ($50.45) from superufo. If you can show a profit, perhaps you could become an advisor to Mr Darling!

Latest developments seem to be the silly season as I am being asked wether I have a wholesale account wheras the email confirming my account clearly says wholesaler account approved!! Reminds me of "public" sectors where the rules seem to be the greater the up the bigger your bonus will be. I am moving towards the opinion that if they cannot resolve this problem quickly it would be better not to do any business with them. Any legitimate company wanting to do trade would treat prospective customers with rtespect & not as half iwits
