Am I wrong in trusting companies that have Gold member status?
I ordered a camera Canon EOS 5D from Fuzhou Hailian Trade Industry Co., Ltd. Has anyone dealt with them?
I transferred 450 USD to their account and received a cheap camera worth much less and not what was advertised on alibaba.
I have spent 3 days trying to get someone to do something but am told that their manager will have to deal with it. Ofcourse nothing is done.
I contacted alibaba and received their standard letter, that unless I sue the company and win,, they cannot do anything.
It's a very unfair system for the buyer, where it seems once you have sent money you are in the hands of the Gods!
I am almost resigned to the fact that I have probably lost my money. Has anyone dealt with this company before? Any suggestions on what I can do?

Replying to [ikhlaq]: Fuzhou Hailian Trade Industry Co., Ltd is located in Putian City(meiyuan, putian, fujian) which is named as "Scxxx City". It's impossible for you to get your money back i think. Please don't deal with the one who offer you an unbelievable price next time, as we all know too good to be ture, low price doesn't match the high-quality goods. I purchased a tomtom GO910 from this company. I was promised an original from them. I arrived as a crap GPS, nothing like the picture. I had to buy an updated map (another 200 dollars) and was told that the person does not work for the company anymore. THe boss told me that because he did not tell me it was original he can't help me
These people need to be removed from Alibaba

Well i have to say im pretty stupid, iv just dealt with this company in fact buying a canon eos 5d, mine was 550 dollars, and well i was sent a cheap camera instead...now its becmoe impossible to contact them....
The point is this, 2 years ago i was scammed about 6000 usd worth of goods, and that was my fault for being naiive, so now im back and trying to be carefull, seeing this company and trrust pass gold member i thought they could be trusted,and we know what happened next....
SO HERE IS THE CONFUSING THING ALIBABA DOES NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT SCAMMERS!!! WHY GIVE SCAMMERS A TRUST PASS AND GOLD SUPPLIER ITS REDICULOUS.....My money is lost again and my real problem is that im wondering if il ever be able to do business.. It seems the whole place is a scam..Iv done nothing but lose hard earned money....
So anobody that knows good reliable business who deal in electronic good let me know..
