Are you being spammed on Alibaba?
Post 1 of 16
I feel that the unanimous answer to this question would be YES in the past also.

But after the recent upgrade in Alibaba website, the problem has been exaggerated a lot.

Just to share my experience, I am now receiving 20-30 spam emails daily which are primarily being sent from some HK IDs. Although I used to block them always but those mails again re-appear with same or new IDs.

Recently, there is a new form of spamming which I have been experiencing. i.e. from another reputed B2B company named www.ecvv.com.

Their executives are contacting and sending mails from different addresses over Alibaba and trying to talk over trade manager to persuade for opting free membership at their website.

The problem doesn't end here. As in my case, I was already a free member at ecvv.com and informed their first executive that we don't need to be contacted again and again but still I am receiving their 4-5 contacts daily over trade manager who are trying to explain me same thing repeatedly through various IDs.

Are you also a victim of all these in the recent past? Kindly share with us about your experiences on the spamming which got you annoyed and what do you think could be the way out?

ECVV is not the only problem. Remember all those spam msg from Benin and Nigeria? One of those bold Scammers actually wanted to talk to me on Trademanager a couple of week ago.

As an experinced trader in my field of interest, I was gaving him/her a hard time by asking lots of questions which was not so much difficult to a person who are expereince in my field.

The problem, yes, is the time lost to entertain these scammers who are interestingly capable of finding more and more ideas to waste our time. Geez.......

But anyway, I am worry about my "Delete" button, for fear that I might delete the wrong but important message.

Replying to [Braham S Aggarwal]:Looks like Putian City is the heaven of scammers and criminals. Everything they sell is

either bogus or fake, but worse, most in Putian city ask for advance payment and then as

soon as they receive the money then suddenly their phone numbers change, their titles and

positions change even the website they were doing business with change. Yet, some of these

so called traders are listed with Alibaba as not just gold member but as Trustpass member.

I am not sure where the reputation of Alibaba goes into picture from this. I have recently

been scammed by and taken my money and no goods were shipped. I like everyone to know and

be careful when they do business with this particular group. The tarders name is:

Huayi Trading Firm
website on alibaba = http://sportshoescn.en.alibaba.com/

The individual scammers involved in this trading firm are

Mr. Chunhua Ou
Mr. Jianxing Zhu
Mr. Derong Chen
Mr. Hexing Huayi
Mr. Hongguang Huo

and others. This trading firm (and the same people) also do business with other names such

as:

www.Shoeskycn.com
www.Sportshoecn.com
www.Moboem.com

and so on.

Please look for these individials' names and those websites and firms when doing business

with them. This is simply a group of thugs and criminals that will take your money and may

not ship any goods or inferior or fake goods to you as they did to me.

I have written to Alibaba a few times. I am yet to hear from them.
