I am very new to Alibaba but I have been doing import from many countries since last two years...many a times from unknown suppliers as well. the safest way for international remittance could be via letter of credit.. I am sure you know the complete process but just in case you dont -


You will go to your bank and apply for a letter of credit for the amount you need to pay the seller. Your bank will freeze these funds in your account, and issue a letter to you and the seller’s bank verifying that they are holding the money, and will transfer it to the seller’s bank account as soon as delivery of the goods to you is confirmed.


this way you can wish to send even 100% payment in advance !

    I just used to calculate the time with my brain when I wanted to tried to get in touch with my clients.Such as  UK  8 hours later than China and AEU 4 hours later than China,but it was all * -up when I was very busy seemingly.I just got brain damage about this calculation.

Any way,this is a good tool.
