Replying to [robmarle]:

Find an authorised distributor through the manufacturer instead. Trying to find laptops on b2b sites is risky and probably not worth it, as there is a huge amount of fraud in the consumer electronics field. If they quote ridiculously low prices, they are most likely just trying to scam you.

There are many Laptop manufacturers.

Best way is to go to http://www.alibaba.com.

enter 'laptop' in search box.

select 'products' in the next box.

in the third box , select "Computer Hardware & Software"

click search.

You will get hundreds of products from many suppliers.

You can click on the manufacturer and contact them for pricing details.

What you must look into a laptop is

1. processor- Is it really a mobile processor?

2. Memory

3. Hadr disk

4. Display

5. Warranty

6. size

7. Weight

8. warranty & guaurantee

9. sales and service in your country

All the best

Regards

Ramesh

Replying to [robmarle]: Sorry, you won't find any. And by advertising like this you soon fall victim to Scammers, possibly Nigerian 419ers.

Replying to [robmarle]: I have been involved in the used computer market selling into over 15 countries for 9 yeras now and I have sold a ton of stuff through alibaba. I found that when I first started the fraud was very small and as alibaba grew and users grew the scams grew (as on all b2b sites, not just this one ).

I established myself with North American suppliers only since it was safer for me if something went wrong. I ONLY paid with a creditcard or Paypal to VERIFIED members and I NEVER sent wire transfers (unltil the supplier was verified big time on my part).

I suggest you deal with payment terms that will protect you like Paypal. If they do not accept your terms tell them to f off and look for another supplier.

I did my experience hard way. I got scammed and lost big.
Dont let this happen to you.
There are a lot of traders that sell Laptops. Research the price in the market first. If the price is cheap, just WALK AWAY. It is 99% a scam! Be very careful and dont get greedy, then you will find a good deal.
Wish you the best.[em7]
