TT (Telegraphic Transfer), * bill etc. vs. LC (Letter of Credit)
Replying to [ChuanBen]:

Sure, why not? But do consider the associated risks. My point, incidentally, was that comparing TTs with LCs was like comparing apples with oranges. It looks like, in spite of my long article, I have failed to bring out that difference, or in making that point clear.

Re: TT (Telegraphic Transfer), * bill etc. vs. LC (Letter of Credit)
Replying to [Catalyst]:That is because you only explain the process of distinguishing the differences between the two or which one to chose. You actually do not explain the pro's and cons of using either method, nor do you explain the methods.

TT (Telegraphic Transfer), * bill etc. vs. LC (Letter of Credit)
Replying to [rajaram]:

The rates vary from bank to bank. For smaller amounts, the percentage becomes too large.

In all remittances, at least TWO banks are involved. One is the remitter's bank. The other is yours. Even if you so arrange that the remitter will pay for his bank's charges, you can hardly ask him to pay YOUR bank's charges. It would be very kind indeed for the remitter to agree to pay the bank charges for BOTH the banks. Would he?

Re: TT (Telegraphic Transfer), * bill etc. vs. LC (Letter of Credit)
Replying to [Catalyst]: Thank you for your very good advise and sharing knowlege , If bank charges to me then of course I will pay the charges , I think it will not much , for 1000 usd bank charges must be less than 50 usd , less than 5% more or less it should be like this?
