potential risks of Chinese agriculture
Post 1 of 4
For 3 reasons
1 the loss of well cultivated land. the booming architecture industry occupied lots of infields.
2No continuator in Agriculture, as my investigation, most chinese teenages discriminate farmer, for low income . 90% youths never go to land. thy hastate to work as farmer, and thy also be short of excises and knowledges in cultivate. even can't distinguish seeds.
3 China with large population can't feed by import

From what I heard there seem to be more problems, like acid rains (together with other contaminants) and lack of water in certain regions. China might be facing the urgent need to import produce.

In my opinion, the urgent thing is to reset the focus on Agriculture development, coz import will not be a long-term solution for such a large population of China.

You are right, it won't be a long-term solution. But having to import to solve an acute problem might be an eye-opener and trigger the necessary changes.
