Internet Explorer 7, IE7
Post 1 of 21
Hello all,

I've not been as active on this board lately. There is a reason for that. I recently updated my Internet Explorer to IE7. That is the new version of IE. I could not start a new thread, respond to a post or edit. I was going nuts trying to figure out what was wrong.

The Alibaba IT team has informed me that Alibaba is not fully functional for IE 7 yet. So if you are running IE 7 as your browser, you may have difficulties with the site that you did not have with IE6.

I recommend that you use IE 6 or some other browser such as Firefox or Opera. This way you should have few or no issues with the functionality of the site. The Alibaba IT team is working diligently to fix all known issues that the site has with IE7.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on that. I hope all are doing well. It feels great to be able to post again!

Julianap,

That is very good to hear.  That confirms a suspicion that we had that it has to do with the moderating functions that I have.  Because when I used an account that was not my own, I could post normally.  Thanks for letting us all know that.  I'll also inform the Alibaba IT department.

From the IE "internet options" choose "security" tab and lower a bit security level and try it again. if still doesn't work, choose "privacy" and click "advanced" , teck "Override automatic cookie handler".

Hope it helps

I've been running Explorer 7 for about 6 weeks now without problem, SAVE I had to lower security in a few areas that does not put me at risk anyway. [em1]
