After having contacted over 180 vendors selling through Alibaba for particular consumer electronics (computers and peripherals) and losing 100% of our orders to fraudulent Alibaba paid member/sellers, our experience is that if you want to do serious business in China, forget the stupidity of trying to source your products through a site unseen lame site like Alibaba.

If you are needing to buy serious volumes of products from China, do a web search and get yourself a professional sourcing company.

The fees you will pay are an investment. 

All this stupid talk about scams on Alibaba is bandaide childish talk.

Alibaba makes money from the scammers - not the consumers who are scammed.
