Yes , in deed. Those paying sample fee are the serious buyers~accordding to many peoples experience, they all said that~if a buyer want to make a deal with you and hope to start long-term business.they don't care about the sample paying~they should know that stands for sincerity .

I agree with you very much.From 2 years' overseas purchasing experences,I learn that the buyer who asks for free sample,usually just want to collect the source ( as you mentioned ) and won't give me any response after getting the sample.So my company's policy is that the buyer must pay the freight fee if the value of the sample is not so high.

At first i want to say sorry for my bad english. I have to improve it.
The problem for myself is I dont know who I can trust in the www so a free sample is great! But also i would pay for it because the concern has to pay for the sample too. I am new in the business and have to learn much. The best service for me is a trusthand (directly from the german word treuhand)! There is a firm who get the money and the item and proof it both.

Replying to [vongmichael]: Yes, it's a sad story as a buyer. Hope all the buyers and sellers pay their full credit, then both can get profit. Sometimes I get full payment for the contract in advance from the buyers. I feel I should operate the business even better than other payment term business. Buyer gives me so much trust, I should do best. Wish you good luck in business!
