Those paying sample fee are the serious buyers
Post 1 of 70
In my practice, I sent samples sometimes by free and and sometimes by charge. And I found those paying the sample led me the purchase order mostly, however those I gave free sample sometimes just no any reply. So I understand those whould pay the sample are the serious buyers and those would not pay the sample sometimes just wanted to collect the source.

Is there any friend experienced same story? Could you agree with me?

Yes, if charge the sample fees, the customer will take the samples seriously before making the decision and playing orders.

Since we don't charge the samples fee, while the freight for samples be collected, but most of the guys, who asked for samples, won't be willing to accept it.

If the clients won't accept to pay samples fee, we would like they accept the freight.

We also take it for granted that both of parties would deal with each other on the basis of mutual benefit.

Replying to [looo]: I agree with you. Buyers who tend to purchase the samples are usually serious buyers who are ready to do business with you. I have found this to be the case in my experience. My experience has taught me that those who simply request free samples in most cases tend to be simply shopping around and aren't serious or ready to pull the trigger. That is why at the very beginning one has to carefully qualify their prospect in order to determine if they are serious and ready to buy or not. If they are simply shopping around for a good price, then drop them so as not to waste your time or theirs. Simply put! [em1][em18]

Replying to [looo]: To all of you's giving free samples. This has been an ongoing practise - but if you are all serious about business and don't want to be scammed or ripped-off, or are just sick of giving away free products day by day, week by week, think seriously about how you can make arrangements on getting some sort of compensation for giving your products away.
Use CCard billing links which are between you and the interested party - STOP giving away your profits!
