The Lost of Original Food
Post 1 of 20
Dear Friends,

Recently i have found a quite disappointing stuff.....it seems that we have lost our 'original food'....i have bought some fruits recently including some famous Sunkists oranges.......

unfortunately they do not taste like Oranges.....it tastes like a mixture of oranges and grapefruits......and i have also bought some pears which taste absolutely like an apple.......

what is happening to the world.........where can i find the original tasted food?

Have you encountered such things?

Well, nobody has answered so far to my proposal to use a greenhouse to protect your produce from all kinds of unwanted influences and instead do exactly what you desire, like nourishing the soil the way you prefer...

Exactly....as i have noticed from some news and books, the Southern California of the USA is not good for farming in its original form....infertile soil, unfavorable weather...but somehow the American just uses technology to alter it...using irrigation and chemical fertilizer.....which make the fruits no longer as natural as what it is supposed to be...

Poor stuff...

I think it would be a good idea....if one has enough money....

especially for me....who live in Hong Kong, possess such a small living space....and i don't really appreciate the High Land Price Policy...or else i could have my own small greenhouse growning fruits and vegetables....

Hong Kong is a madhouse, no doubt about that. But some people find ways around problems, and in your case you might have the greenhouse inside your apartment, in a vertical 10 cm (or 4 inch) tube. I have never personally done that, but the pictures I saw really convinced me.

But anyway, it was not meant to be "a lesson in greenhousing", only food for thought. If we really want to solve a problem, there is a way.
