EMS or TNT or UPS is cheaper (Follow-up)
Post 1 of 5
i have since discovered that this is not a simple answer at all. It appears that EMS in china shares a portion revenue with shippers and sometimes , the sellers are willing to share this with the customer. So if you do a bit of bargaining you could be in for a surprice ruduction in the shipments. I have a good feel that this will work. Can any one else confirm this with their own experience?

Yes. In China you can send cheaper with TNT, Fedex, or DHL by intermediate companies. They send large quantities, so they have lower prices than you could get.

No. it is not call: bargain.
The name brand couriers have their price lists, you can also check the prices on their websites. (this price is 100%)
Normally, they try to promote their service, so when you are going to take up their service, their price is 80% (more or less).
But if you are their regular customers, you have to sign the agreement with them as their big customer. It require you have to send out the quantity up to the lever they required monthly. They will offer you a much better price, they call it " discount "..This can be 60-75% of the original prices.
The above is my working experience. (Since I have worked for some foreign companies as their China partner, and sent a big amount via couriers, like DHL, EMS..)
Hope it can be valuable to you.
If you have any problems, feel free to contact me..I am willing to answer your questions.

Replying to [sivaras]:EMS is much cheap while their delivery period is nearly the same with UPS/DHL/TNT. I prefer EMS.
