Countries In Africa :
Personaaly having almost lost a fortune to number of Africans , i feel all are cheats, From congo, south africa, Tanzania, ghana, Nigeria, kenya,
But then where on earth we dont have scammers and cheater??
India , china ? arent they full of cheaters, its just that some couutries have more, some have less,
Whever a dream profit is there in a deal involved and you think you are the most luckiest person on Earth, Just think twice.....
African Countries are more famous rather infamous as there is no law governing also, but then even in most governed countries like dubai and canada, I have come across cheaters ....
One has to be extra carefull when dealing with Africans...

well the ans to that question, in doing buisness you that is involved should be very carefull you dont jump into doing buisness out of greed
most of the scam stories are out of greed no matter where the buyer is from
you should first do your homework before going into doing buisness.
scammers are everywhere there is no exception. the net is a global village.

Do not buy the listed items from Nigeria, we don't manufacture such items in Nigeria, it!!
Why would people buy electronics from Nigeria??????????? We don't even produce enough food to go round except for cassava (maybe).
Please post all contacts from Nigeria here; we will work with you to sieve the chaff off. Please note that only phoney contacts will be confirmed as scams; no company will be confirmed ok. You will be refered to appropriate government parastatals for further investigation.

The answer is very simple and clear... YES, OF COURSE... A lot of countires in Africa are trustworthy and a lot of people there are good and honest people.. you can not judge a continent based on some fraud mails... It's like watching (scareface) and asking, is there any people in America who are not mobs and murderes..
And, it is very easy to identify serious trades or avoid frauds if you let me show you some of my tricks:
- Simpley revert to the commercial devision in the embassy of the country in question.
- You can also check with your chamber of commerce for refernces on the traders or inductries you are looking for in a particular country.
- Ask the potential trader for letter of recommendations, references or credits received from known international firms and look them up there.
- Never adhere to any fiscal requests unless through a letter of guarantee (credit) through a trusted bank.
- Never give your credit card information or your bank account information online or to anyone that you do not trust.
- Come on, don't tell me that a prince in elephant land doesn't have money (or anyone else to give him money) so he starts surfing the net looking for 5000.00 US$... (they are so stupid)...
Finally, my final trick is to follow your guts... It will never fail you..
Good people are good people regardless they are from Africa or anywhere else.
Thank you.

Replying to [Admin]: In all countries there are people who are honest and people who are not. Scammers everwhere feed on greed and stupidity. Most times people get ripped of because they are trying to pay less for something than it is actually worth or trying to do a deal without doing adequate research, either because they are lazy or desperate and usually don't want to "lose the deal".
Remember :
1. Articles are sold at less than true value for a reason.
2. If something is too good to be true, it usually is not.
3. Cheap is expensive.
4. Most frauds are the smaller amounts - "send $50 for paperwork" etc and you never hear from the seller again.
5. It's wiser to lose the deal than to lose your money.
Countries in Africa are as safe as anywhere for the wise.
Countries anywhere are not safe for the gullible, greedy, selfish, lazy
