There is a lot of bad talk about Nigeria and scams –are there any countries in Africa which are really trustworthy?

I am an african company registry in china , hong kong and singapore also alibaba member since 2002
since etablish our company in china in 2000
you can cheick with zhejiang provincial govemermt our record and hong kong registry company listing, we had a turover of 75 millions dollars /year no one has complain on us since .

by trusting african costumer you can do it but its depend.
by doing business with them if you need any help, let me know i will do what i can to provide more information about this company

are everywhere, even Hong Kong and China there are scam there.
Since 2004 some company in China used ttnet.net name to contact us, that they can supply us with mobile phones and LapTop computers. We wired $2,000 through our bank(Citibank) to H.S.B.C(H.K) for sample. To-date we have not receive the sample nor our money. We recall our money four days after wired, The company manager told us they will ship the goods 5 days after receiving the transferred(Wired) papers by fax from us. We did all and called the company manager in China, he told me they are on Mid Autumn vacation at North China and they cannot supply us the goods
until after their vacation. We immediately sent instructions to our bankers Citibank for recall of the money on september 24, 2004, which according to Citibank it takes five business days for wired money to clear. lt was the third day but, HSBC Hong Kong the receiving bank refused to released the money back. We Planning to
take legal action. Scam is everywhere not only Africa. We are Americans we have companies we been doing business with in Ghana who are trustworthy.

The flood of fraud messages from African countries have miserably tortured the honesty of real business and almost every country that region has lost their credibility, even though every African country is not involved in the spam false market, but we think we have to search thoroughly before dealing any biz with them.

In my humbly opinion yes there are. We received a lot of mails from the scammers and fraudsters,and base on this we then lump all togetherthis is not right.
I am sure that there are scammers in America also, as well as on my Island of St.Maarten.
Sometime as business men and women we want to do business ,and we don't take the time to do the right research.
We end up looking stupid,then who is to be blammed, the scammer or us for bring so naive?
I am of the opinion that there are great opportunities in Africa,we just have to search for the right people to establish a working relationship with.

Africa Countries can be trustworthy in doing business.It is only greedy businessman that would fall prey for scam.Those scam are used to play on your imagination to believe that there is business going on,whereas you found out that there is nothing.Why should someone promise you $15million business and you lose only $5,000 or more.You need to wake -up from your slumber and pull yourself togther again.Business is done in a gradual manner until you get your desired growth.In Africa there are britons, american lebanese, Indian others ppl doing business and they are doing fine.Why should you be greedy.You need to ask yourself that question.AFRICAN COUNTRIES ARE TRUSTWORTHY.

Countries in general cannot be equated to as individuals.You may get trustworthy African individuals/companies to do business with even in Nigeria where it is generally assumed is full of scammers.
As an African Iam saddened by the impression being created that we are not turstworthy,because I have come into contact with other nationals from other continents who aren't trustworthy.

I check the authenticity of nigerian companies for interested foreign businessmen and companies, who have been wise enough to check before they commit their money. Agreed. Nigeria is home to thousands of scammers, but a wise foreign company or businessman, desirous of entering Nigeria needs also to be smart. You can can check out any company in Nigeria, through professionals, before you even think of answering their requests. It is on record only foolish and greedy foreign businessmen that fall prey to the antics of these con artist in Nigeria. Be Wise and reasonable ... and you will NEVER be defrauded in Nigeria. Almost all African countries are trustworthy.
Nigeria has always been a yardstick for accessing Africa,nigeria on her own is not as corrupt as been labelled,she's only been mis-understood,not all scams originate from nigeria even though they tends to have nigerian origin
