I find that if somthing is wrong on this side that it is not taken with much concern on suppliers side it many phone calls to get things straight and if you are lucky other wise you are just another buyer

not at all. i assumed that once before, but it's not always true. I think you're better off looking to the gold suppliers first, and then from there finding out if they are honest business people. Maybe chat them up for a while, see how they treat you... If you feel they may be legitimate, you can ask a business agent in China to get all the pertinent info about them using their business number. contact justin yuan for that...he charges a small fee, but it's worth it.
