Fake goods - Shoud traders be banned?
Post 1 of 7
Being a new entrant on Alibaba i was shocked to find that a large number of suppliers are offering "Fake" Branded goods - even while admitting it to be fake. Also are suggestions on how to hide and run from customs. We should make these resources legal and legitimate exchange of contacts not a "Pirate's Den"

Wish you a happy day!

Problems are there are so many factories making copies,
I have seen, Atv, bikes, scooters, Ladders, Mp3, Dvd, shoes, T shirts the list keeps going, like the other replier said " Many are on Alibaba" China is now looking more at the copy production but man it's very big, and in truth if it was stopped tomorrow than the money lost to China is so so big, companies like Microsoft push China as they are world leader in the software business and they loose silly money from the copyrights in China, so work hard with the China goverment to reduce it.
May i had we both know in UK the business of pc and dvd software and not forgetting play station and xbox is very big, how much have companies lost there.

The other issue is if the public don't buy copy products than these people would stop [em2]

Yes you know we all want a cheap product, that's life [em8]

What business are you in, contact me, i am in China now.

Replying to [motoucom]: Hi Motoucom

I would like a designer from Asia to make a dress for me, and I want the exact copy of a Chanel cocktail dress. Is this legal? When the copy will be made, people wil think that it's a Chanel dress while it isn't at all.

If you need further details; please let me know.

Kind regards

Yes there is a very clear way.
The way is for companies spend enough money to develop their own brand names and use co-operative like structures, sponsored by say Alibaba to open retail outlets in the Western World. There is no money lacking is there? Fake goods is both illegal and un-ethical and variable quality.
Multinationals have been killing off local brands for long number of years with pure greed. Local brands need to fight back with Ethical, quality , genuine products with own brands. They now have "Internet" with them.

Replying to [sivaras]: What would you tell your local paper if you saw an ad like this:"Stereos golf clubs, TV's etc., all stolen from US homes. Great deals, shipped from offshore location." Some people on these sites are stealing brand names and designs from US and European companies. It's theft. Plain and simple. They should be banned.
