I am new to dealing with overseas suppliers but my honest opinion is that if you are willing to pay for samples it shows you have respect, and a true willingness to deal with your desired supplier or manufacturer. Those wanting only FREE samples can usually but not always be seen to be looking to get what they can at no expense and never truely have any intention of longterm dealing with the parties involved.

As I said I am new to all of this but beleive my values will assist me in my efforts to source what we may or maynot need for our industry.[em15]

in certain exten, free sample can attract customer .as the world ecnomy is globaling ,more and more person do businese who come from different countries .so increased the sample charge .in the near yeres .some of customer who are not really to establish mutual benefict businese relationship with sellers.so make a bad reputation .you will loose a good partner who wants to dealing businese with you if you ask he to pay the sample charge .in my opinion ,please atenttion ,you must make a rational decide to choose "free" or "pay"

Replying to [Admin]: In our company policy if potential buyer ask sample for their approval there's two option for them they have to pay for the sample or they pay for the freight cost. So it will be good in both side.

The best way i think is " GIVE SAMPLE FREE BUT LET THE BUYER PAY THE SAMPLE FREIGHT"

this ensure that-- the suppier is able to supply goods and also the buyer is willing to take.

This ensure cost sharing where no party profits from sample untill the order is done. So it implies that every party is seriuos about business. [em21]

Of course there should be samples charges. you get thousands of enquiries everyday asking for samples. This would be a big problem if no feedback. On the other hand, this sample charges can be deducted from the total amount once order been placed. This is what we normally do. [em1]

in my appoionin free sampels is the best way of finalizing a deal, i think it has 100 % good effect on doing bussiness, there is only 1 to 2 % risk, but we have to be carefull and pay attention that for 1 or 2% we must not lose a deal, in addation a free samples cost for exampel will be 20 up to 100 usd, along with shiping cost it will reach 200 usd, we must not think we will lose 200 usd but we have to forsee for getting a contaract of 20000 or more, if we think of losing 200 we might lose 20000 or 200000 or might lose a big regular deal,.

Replying to [Admin]: Yes the buyer should be charge for freight charges atleast.

Can any one tell me what are the ways from which one can receive sample charges. I mean if I have to receive the freight charges from my buyer how can I ? freight collectable through courier will work? is there any risk ? some safe mode ?
