Quoting from [jasonwz]:You received the money, didn't you? Then how do you say that TT is not safe? The bank that paid you charged you for their services. Do you think that the bank will survive only on fresh air? There is no such thing as free lunch, my friend!
Replying to [Ranger]:A method is safe or not. It depends on for whom, the buyer or the supplier. No doubt, T/T is safer for supplier. And L/C is safer for the buyer.
And I have to say T/T is not the safest one for supplier.
I recently got an order. The order is small. And the buyer is first get in touch with me. He choose to pay by T/T. The total amount is 820 USD.
But our bank accounting just received 800 USD. I find out the reason later. Our buyer really sent 820 USD to our bank accounting. But he didn’t pay the post cost of sending money. Every businessman knows that money from a bank to another bank, it takes to pay. So the bank cut 20 USD from the 820 goods payment.
I have to say, the T/T payment this time is not safe.

hi everyone can you plz give me a advise " a customer give me a order and told me that i will pay cash against document method .it is the 1st order of my business life.it is a trial order and he also want that use my brand name on product."
can you peoples tell me what should i do ?
In my opinion, it should be OK. Just make sure that you (1) route the documents to him through a bank, (2) the shipping document is drawn such that it is consigned 'to the order of the bank' to which you give all the documents for collection, and (3) include a D/P (i.e. payable at sight) draft with the rest of the documents.

Ranger, Can you suggest me, on how to accept Credit card payment. I am willing to sell items to my client, and my client will pay with credit cards. Is it safe? Please explain to me.
You will need a an SSL Merchant Gateway to accept credit cards in Indonesia. I suggest you go to www.nsiapay.comand see if you qualify for one.

Quoting from [Ranger]:Typically, all payment methods are safe. But only the buyer can define what is safe for their transaction and what assurances they require for their investment. If you know your supplier and have a good relationship with them W/U, T/T, D/P, Escrow.com, and L/C are all safe. If you do not know your supplier and have no relationship then I'd opt for the last two. Escrow allows you to inspect the items before payment is released, and the L/C requires that specific douments will be presented before the release of any funds. For companies doing smaller buys I suggest that fees would be better via escrow.com and for large PO's the L/C will be the best. In any case you must not only research the company supplying you the goods but also the payment method. For L/C their are different types that may be more beneficial than others per your company requirements and I suggest that you visit your bank and their International banking department to discuss all aspects of the L/C.
So when, individuals ask what is safe no one can really reply as they have no insight into anyone elses business nor their requirements for trust and security of funds.

And payment C.O.D.? ( Cash On Delivery)
More safer not possible i think
Hi every one,
I never bought from this site before and yesterday I ask for some amount of items but seller contact me and told that I have to pay with W/U as they do not accept CC or xxxpal from US. He was agree to take 60% upfront and 40% when I receive order. I realy don't know what to think as I made phone call to the provided number in seller's profile and it is wrong number :( If I paid with W/U will I have any protection directly from this site?
Thank you
Hi,
Would you please explain what are W/U,T/T,D/P,L/C meaning?
Thank you very much.

Good day!
Read a couple of replies. I'm new to the game and got scammed once. I am now careful inregards of payment. I just want to ask what is the safest way of payment? Is Escrow safe? I've read a couple of bad reviews regarding the company.
Thanks.
