When I was 7 years old, in summer holiday I was boring, my dad bought 7 goose for me to play with them, but I brought up them, made them very fat and healthy, and my dad sold them,he earn quite good money.
When I was in school, I was in charge of class expenses for 6years,
I bought one lamination machine for my cl *, through this machine ,we earn a lot of money from other cl *.
When I graduated from high school, I was the only one elected as "excellent student", won " RMB2500.00" which I paid for first year of my college fee.

When I was 8, I "borrowed" (never paid her back though! Well it just didn't occur to me that I had to pay her back.. and being a mother she never reminded me of my first business loan) a couple of dollars from my mother, bought a dozen pieces of marbles (the kind kids played with in those days), and sold them for a modest profit. Later on adding other toy items popular with my close friends in the village I ended up with enough profits within the year to buy my own brand new bicycle (it was a Raleigh, quite expensive and of good quality - I believed in quality in those days, still do) so I didn't have to walk the several kilometers a day to school carrying those heavy books, what with all those heavy marbles too I had with me all the time.

Hello there,

Well, I had many business experiences at small age, but that wouldn´t really count since getting kids to do business like taking away their lolipops.

But my first official step into the business world with grown ups was, at the age of 13. My parents had to go urgently to a business trip abroad, for 2 days, and the staff was on holiday. They used to run a Wholesale chain.

During that time it was offseason so basically just clearing stocks, since the other stores where already taken care of, the head sales store couldn´t be closed down. So my dad pointed a finger at me and said, "I know you can do it, here are the keys, just make sure, who ever buys something that you note it and when we come back we will handle the rest".

Hmmm, so good sofar, I have been always at the store with my parents, after school, always helping them out whenever I could, my father even let me count the money, and thought me how to stake it well. So it was obviouse I wouldn´t sit still, I wanted to impress my father. I remember him always complaining over the belts we had in overstock, so I made sure to sell them off.

My parents left a list behind with all the prices, so I wasn´t woried to much. Okay, here we go, first day, first customer, i used to call everyone uncle or aunty. So they came in I immediately pointed out the belts, " its on sale, want some". Well, I kept on repeating it to every customer. Instead of writing down, what the customer took and give them credit, I took their cash. I made sure I had a polaroid camera, my favorite toy, as to take the pictures of the customers who took something, so if someone trys to cheat me, I knew how they looked.

The sales were not going well, thats what I felt, I only had roughly 4000 dollars by the end of the day, this was only a small fraction of what my parents used to do. So what I did the next day, I wasn´t a genius in buying, so I negleted that and just concentrated on increasing the sales. Whatever customer came in, I surounded him with items and reduced the prices, what I didn´t know back then, even below the market price, so no wonder every customer who came in immediately took as much as they good fit in their cars. All I cared for was that the sales were increasing.

At the end of the day I managed to do a total sale of around 20.000 dollars, still not what my parents do on average, but I said to my self "hey not bad boy, your are only half the size of your parents and 1/3 of their age, so I beat them." haha, sounds funny come to think of it.

The horror was written on my mother face, when she compared the prices, but my father kept on smiling, and all he said is "next time make sure you know how it costs us before you give something on sale, by the way good job with the belts they were getting on my nerves". The smile I had on my face, and how wide my chest was, I will never forget that.

Just years later, when i was grown up, me and my father were talking, upon that story, I asked him how much did I lose anyways. He said, the amount of sales I did, that was the amount I also lost. so 0 money earnd. Thats why he kept on smiling.
