Sir my question is like this.

Why does seller do not accept credit card payments? If they like me to buy thier product, they like me to make payments abruptly? Can I trust this kind of sellers? Actually they were from UK?

It is the same that I answered in your other question !

Your suppliers should be fraudster and they do not like payments that are comprehensibly !
But not accepting a CC payment is not ever a sign for fraud, but it is probably, if they only offer Western Union !

Replying to [gbalbz]: That's a stupid question. Will you actually communicate your credit card information to fraudsters???
To receive a credit card information you need to be able to process credit cards payments, whether online or through a POS machine. International business is not retail. There is no need to justify the need of credit card processing technology.

Replying to [gbalbz]: Hi Glenn. Mabuhay. Pinoy to-its in Saudi. I have the same query as you. You are on photography business and I am into photography and vintage camera collection hobby. I want to buy a Nikon DSLR from US but sellers won't accept my Saudi-issued credit card online. They prefer US or Canadian-issued cards. I don't know the reason there as they can always verify from the merchant if my card is valid or not. Some shops would require you to fax copy of both sides of your card for verification and let you fill in a form for faxing as well. However, they put additional charges using this system. In Amazon.com and other site for ebooks, I used my CC without any problem. Did you check this with your bank?[em1]

Dear Sir,
The sellers often do not accept credit card payment in world trade only because there is no facility in sellers country to check the identity of foreign credit cards. More overin country like India govt. do not permit credit card payment receiving from foreign country , but sending credit card payment is allowed.
The other reason is to maintain a credit card payment receiving account from abroad means about $100 expenses monthly as fee to intermediate agency.
I think this is one of the reason for which most of the develo-ped
countries seller do not like to accept credit card payment.
Thanks,
Banik

There is one bulletproof (and totally FREE) way to sell your product and get your money.
It's not an advertising but I use Siteheart.com "chat and make a deal" application for this purposes .
You chat with your customer tet-a-tet online, bargain about the price and if he is ready to pay you send him an online bill to pay by Visa or MasterCard (note that you don't need merchant account or payment gateway to process this transaction), he pays the bills (including the transaction fees), you instantly receive confirmation from 3rd party processor and 100% of funds will be transferrred directly to your own pro Visa card within next 15-30 days!
This payment processing is secured by 3D Verified by Visa technology and it means that all cards from any country in any currency will be accepted..
Enjoy!

There are couple of reasons for it.
Seller dosent trusts credit card.
Seller maybe a fake person.
Your credit card is not from reputed banks.
Dosent matters hes from Uk or any other place as scams are pratised in all parts of world.

Many suppliers do not accept credit card payments for a very simple reason: They cannot process it!

Also, to answer your sub question - a supplier who does not accept credit card payment can be legitimate.
When ever you are in doubt about a supplier, I would recommend that you do the following things -

- Insist on payment by the following methods, Escrow (recommended), paypal and credit card. This is because you are protected by fraud protection etc; but escrow is the safest, as no money reaches the supplier until you have received goods and you are satisfied.

- Checking the company’s information. Cross examine the companies information to information available from free publicly available resources (company house etc... Do a Google search!)

- And finally; taking it upon your self to employ a company analysis to do company and financial checks. They can be reasonably costly, but well worth the investment if the suppliers claims excite you with prospects of a long time, profitable business relationship!

I hope that you found this information useful - and I am very interested if people views on what I have expressed here!

Many thanks!
