I am new to Alibaba, but no to trading purposes or matters, I have work for several multinational companies and the rule number one : Identified with the supplier, was taking all the way trough any negotiation, in all cases and trough the years we have come across two diferent type of scammers, in many ways and this is before this wonderfull tool of internet comunication, and even before the fax machines, we use to comunicate by telephone or teletype, and many times we got really taken for a ride.
In many oportunities we were closing our electronic deals and sent the inspection teams to check our merchandise as was specified in the letter of credit. and we found out that the company was a set up,
It was an store front in Miami, close to free trade zone , near Miami Airport, and the merchandise was in a warehouse full of employees, running around putting together computers made in Taiwan that were
in this supposed to be manufactured in the United States. What you see in internet today has nothing to do with it , it depends only on the product manufacturer legal representation issue in any given way,
So as per the final aproach to this subject the other type of scammer it is no only the seller but also the product manufacturer wich in ways of manufacturing copies of the product with brand names, how can you feel that you have or you are a victim, when you know that the buying price of such product it is lower than the real cost of manufacturing with the right materials or components. So, as per my oppinion it is not the responsability of seller, if no if it is of the buyer, that in order to make a good profit , will go for this unfortunate way ,
of buying cheap imitations knowingly, or not. By rejecting the fakes and promoting the legal, will eventually come around one days, a factory id number or code on the fabric that could be scanned for genuity, and not ingenuity .Hope this is helpfull.
