several days ago. there was a pakistan client came to visit our factory. He seems to be very interested in our computerized embroidery machine!!! and we introduced him our machines. and at that evening we talked about the detailes,such as all specifications they want and the terms of payment and the price term.
All things went very well ! He let us give him a copy proforma invoice with our boss's signature and the stamp of our company. we give him the proforma invoice as his request .
now i don't know it's right or wrong to do this. Maybe he will to the other companies and give our proforma invoice(all details and price are including) to the others, then the others will give him a more cheap price. but the price we give him is our lowest price. and now he dosen't contact us any more.
what can i do if there is another client let us give the proforma invoice?

Replying to [orchis]:I think you should communication with him,or you send fax or telephone to him,indicate your company want to establish trade relationship with him.your thinking is possible,some clients indeed do like that.but i hope you can victory

Replying to [orchis]:PI is just a formal quotation before it became the final confirmation as contract,so I think of course it is right you supplied it.If the buyer is true,he will feel good.
Why he did not contact you later?You can contact him at first and try to find out the reason.Try you best to catch the buyer.If the price is the only problem,check if you can cut yr price down~
About the price exposed,it is also a small problem,but since yr price is the final price,what you can catch buyer is quality and service.Without PI,he can also compare with other supplier.
