Why can not the traders take original product pictures by themselves?

In the last month i have been obtaining quotes for various products like Mp3 players, Mp4 Players, Digital Photo Frames etc. What struck me most was the complete lack of orginality in the quotes that i received. This leads me to think that it could be due to one or more of the following reasons:
a. Lack of good digital cameras - (fast in a feast)
b. Lack of good photographers or photography skills ( Defocus?)
c. Lack of originality - Copying is easy and simple
d. Lack of time - Cant be bothered
e. There is only one original manufacturer / supplier who provided the photo and everyone else is acting as an agent giving cover quotes.
f. Lack of finances - Costs time and money to take a picture.
From a western perspective I am amused at this behaviour. As a small trader on Ebay i take care to picture every single product that i put up for sale - so why can not the genuine traders take original pictures for themselves rather than copy it from some other website?
Welcome views on how important is a pictrure to trade?

Simple answer, most of these factories do not have what we call is the marketing department. They do not have a budget for marketing and advertise ( thanks god, that why we can buy stuff so cheap)

its alwasy easy to get pics from other people, maybe they look nice.
but also the factory may not have made a sample, maybe new product.
never been in production?
Factories dont have many samples, they make to order, and if have some samples will sell them.

Yes I do agree that all suppliers should publish the original photo of their product. But unfortunately,
° Most of these companies do not seem to have marketing/advertisement institution/budget in them.
° Management isnt calibre enough to cover all the aspects of product life.
° They dont have any professional management staff at all

° Companys own products may not be as good looking as the branded products are
Even on eBay, you will see some blurred photos of some products to hide the physical appearance of some products.
Yes without increasing cost, the Chinese management can do more to run their business effectively
