Trade Manager, being protected from Virus?
Post 1 of 9
I use trade manager utility a lot and i am worried that some one may plant a spy bot or a virus in on of their files that they send - like quote or product details. Is it virus protected?
What is the technical advice?

Trade Manager itself cannot have a Virus.
The only way you can get a virus through Trade Manager is that if someone sends you a file via Trade Manager and you accept it, open it, and therefore activate the virus.
I run a very good anti-virus programme, which would stop Trade Manager opening the second it would detect a virus trying to activate.

Replying to [sivaras]:No the software doesn't contain any virus. but I feel that the startup speed is slow as it is loading in the startup.
but yes! It is not supported by any antivirus as yahoo, rediff and other webmail options have for the attachments. [em1]
