Does a commision agent needs any licences in US?

This question is really for US members.
Do I need any kind of License to be a commision agent in US? All I am doing is finding a seller for my buyer, and making a commision in between.

Replying to [RookieTrader]:You do not need one However you need to have a company registered under which you should be functioning unless you are just going by knowing someone within the company The law suggest that all business/trading must be legally registered for tax purposes to be on the safe side You can apply for DBA as individual and work from there
