Acturally not. They are famous for providing cheap goods which are not so good in performances as occidental goods.

here are some of the comments:

I've been duped by a few suppliers from China,
I got burnt a few times by some unscrupulous people on this site, because they are selling poor quality or defective goods.

Never believe those pictures they post on the site is the best advice I can give you.

My own experiences include mostly low quality Chinese vendors looking for ignorant Western buyers. They rely on your ignorance to sell you garbage.

yes, I would rate them equal to any other. This question of yours is legitimate because most chinese sellers insist for advance.Their ignorance of L/C terms or reluntance raises a doubt. But my experience so far is good.Even as a seller of websites,I have had good payment from chinese customer immediately the website was loaded.Though he asked for further changes in website, which we carried out after the payments were received, but it was not used as an excuse to delay payments.

Replying to [Madhur_Agarwal]:Some Supplier are good and some are not... But It depends on your dealing and requirement also. Bcz maximum people want the lowest price and the hope for the best quality. How it is possible? If any one want good quality then he has to pay for that. If you want the good quality from China, you have to tell them, they can do ...but how to do, you have to tell them....

Replying to [Madhur_Agarwal]:Make sure you are buying what you want as many items are not as they seem. When sellers seem to be unhappy that you are buying samples this is your first sign something is not right. Buying a sample may add to purchase time but will save headaches later. Go slow it can be very rewarding if you do your due diligance.

That depends.
Not all Chinese suppliers are selling low quality products!
Not all Chinese suppliers are reliable!
This is the same to other suppliers in other countries I think.
I also note there are many business scammers from USA, UK, and other countries.
China has a large population and we cannot avoid being scammed by a few suppliers in China.
There is a Chinese saying going like this: High quality goods doesn't match low prices. You're getting what you paid.
China is becoming the ' manufacturing centre' and Chinese goods are so competitive mainly owing to her low labour cost. However, China is also creating her own brands now...
Let's wait and see!
China is a gold place for every businessman worldwide, welcome to China!
