[em6]Business is business, we all know that. But we can not just play a game. I got so many enquiries every day, for some people I already quoted them once, they will come back and even pretend that he will place an order immediatly, so that offer new and lower price.

I am a real business man, but really tired of the games played by ***. Have you guys got any idea about how to identify real buy and enquiry[em3]

Maybe you should play their game.

When they come back and tell you they will place an order immediately if you lower the price, just tell them to place the order, pay the deposit, and THEN you will give them a slightly better price. That will force the issue.

That is easy. I can spot a gold from the sands from half a mile away. [em10]

An inquirer who gives out detail specification and his company information means he's more serious than others who hide information or just enjoy inquiring.

Real customer is generaly specific about delivery, price range, sampling schedule, payment terms.Product specifications are well defined, quantities expressed in terms of staggered shipment, inspection terms specified with preffered third party inspection agency, gives out full details of his company with website and phone numbers and generally does not make tall claims.

Subscribe to companies that can screen your enquire companies like ICAP in order to have the first serious database. Pretty often they just do it in order to know the market price of a specific product.Afte the first screening usually what theyu write is essential especially if theygive full company data so you can call them excpet email them. After all the above time & exprience is the crucial factors that can guide you in this labyrinth

Ifyou send a quotation to a given company, and you don't get answer in 4 weeks, it won't be a real cuastomer.
