In my opinion I consider that the options are:

1. To hire a Nigerian government entity or by means of the embassy of my country in that country, to take care of the interests of my company.

2. To travel a representative personally from their company to Nigeria if the opportunities of the business and the benefits require it.

Most likely he wasn't directing this question to trader's located out of Nigeria. He was asking for an experinced trade man in Nigeria, to help.

Replying to [chuks]:So intereting for me to answer.Let me give you some important notes on Nigeria.

I am very positive on a country like Nigeria which is a highly potential market for any kind of trade. As u may see peoples reaction about Nigeria... first off people hesitae o do business with Nigeria why?

As u ask me i would say it a good country and u need to understand the basic culture of the people when doing business with any country. i have traveled NIgeria many times and agree tat its atough market to deal with. But u see the people are very freindly and smarter than us.And good and bad is there every where and u see the one country and people who say "sorry my freind" even forgive everything in a fraction of seconds. So the people are basically good. And on starting business with Nigeria is very easy as the govt encourage the enterpreners to invest even 100% and its a typical market and not at all like any other market. It has a spacial way of doing things. so please any issue related in Nigerian markets ..... pls feel free.... Thanks Krishnan

They hesitate to do business with Nigeria's is becuase Nigerians cover most of the scam with online trading.
Honest Nigerian's aren't on computer's or laptop's, you won't find them that way. The honest one's, find their clients or seller's thru the old way's, before Internet Trading was made.

If you are serious then you should contact local chamber of commerce people, they will brief you about the policies of the country and scope of different business options

Hey chukey baby.

I find more and more postings by yourself all over these forums. Great to see someone from your country posting sensible stuff. Hope you stick around a long time and keep contributing.

In the meantime, sounds to me like you want to get into some kind of business over there.

Do some research, see what kind of business suits you, what you would enjoy doing, where you would get supplies from, who would you sell to, make sure you'll make money out of it, then go for it.

I wish you all the very best of luck, and hope to see you in the millionaire's club one day.
