The mobile phone markets are governed by the 'big-boys' !
Post 1 of 20
I have a large account with Nokia and have sold Nokia phones for two years now.
There is however an unrealisitc view within the market that you can get these phones cheap within the trade. On the majority of phones I am lucky to make 15 GBP per handset. Saying that though, this is genuine stock.
I think that the market is swapped with replica phones, and promises of top branded phones at very low prices. It just doesn't happen.
The mobile phone markets are governed by the 'big-boys' and small fish just do not have the purchasing power to make massive profits.
I must have had 10,000 enquiries through Alibaba for mobile phones. I have only ever done one deal. All my business is done on the High Street. Re-sellers just cannot afford the genuine brand.
Thanks, Chris.

Replying to [Mr Foster]: Thanks Chris. I have echoed that same point in my computer forum and even given potential buyers a way to figure out what the best price is they could imagine buying from a reseller or even a distributor such as BrightPoint UK. Hopefully as you are a seller of these products you can frequent both this board and the computer forum to answer some of the questions other members have about acceptable Mobile Phone pricing.
Best regards,

It seems that Mr.Foster comes back from his HIGH STREET, to a back street !
This was his last Topic posted and one more log in, to reply to an other question regarding mobile phones, on 29.9.06, after this he must have a problem !
He did not reply to my answers, neither made here, nor made over his company contact.
