There seems to be some confusion as to how this service works. Easily you can go to the website to find out, but I will it explain it here and buyers or sellers can ask further questions about this payment type.

First from the buyers side:

The buyer negotiates with the seller a price for the goods to include the shipping price. The buyer recieves a proforma invoice from the seller that contains the address and name of the company and all bank details so that payment can be made to the appropiate **** upon the completion of the deal.

With this information the buyer will arrange with escrow.com to make payment upon satisfaction of the deal including an inspection period usually 7 days. The fees for the transaction will be payed by the seller. The seller then wires the money to escrow.com including all fee's

Seller's Side:

After seller has sent a proforma invoice the seller waits for an email from escrow.com stating that they have recieved the payment in full from the buyer and that the seller can ship the order to the buyer. The seller in turn replys to escrow.com with a tracking number so that escrow .com can confirm that the delivery was made and infor the seller when the shippment is recieved by the buyer. The buyer now has up to 7 days to inspect the items. If at the end of the 7 days the buyer has not made arrangents to ship the products back at their own cost with a tracking number payment will be released to the buyer for the full amount of the proforma invoice. This is the added seller service. Buyers funds will not be released back to the buyer until such time that seller has recieved the shipment back.

What this means is that there is no downside for the seller. Because the buyer pays all fee's including return shipping if necessary.

But for the buyer, they have a chance to inspect the products themselves if the quality is not satisfactory they are not out their whole investment, just the return shipping and a fee with escrow.com.

Also from the buyers side the cost for the service can be more than a normal T/T fee 25,000.00USD about 223.00 fee but what is that amount compaired to inspecting the items yourself and saving the inspection fee in the country you purchase the items, plus ensuring you are out no more than a small fee plus return shipping for the items. It could save you 24,500.00USD depending on your return shipping.

AlThe only safe third party payment company is at www.escrow.com. Its 100% safe for the Seller, and 100% safe for the buyer.

Here's how it works step by step:

1. Buyer and Seller agree on a price including shipping.
2. Seller sends the Buyer a Pro forma Invoice with shipping shown as a seperate cost and by the service it will be shipped ( Shipping method must include tracking)
3. Buyer submits a copy of the Pro forma invoice along with payment and fee's for the transaction to escrow.com
4. When escrow.com receives cleared payment to cover sellers invoice and escrow.com's fees they send a message to seller to ship the goods.
5. When escrow.com receives confirmation from the shipper that the goods have arrived at the buyers address the buyer has 7 days to inspect the products.
6. On the 7th day if the buyer has not contacted escrow.com disputing the quality of the goods escrow.com will send payment via T/T to the seller per the payment details of the Pro forma invoice covering the total price of the invoice.

If a dispute in quality arrises:

1. Buyer would have to contact escrow.com and make arrangements for returning the goods via a trackable shipper to the seller at the buyers expense.

2. Upon receiving confirmation from the shipper that the products have arrived back to the seller the transaction is voided.

3. At this point escrow.com will release payment to the seller for the initial shipping cost.

4. Funds are returned to the buyer from escrow.com minus initial shipping refund to seller plus escrow.com fee's.

Personally I can't answer why but it may have something to do either with the Indonesian goverment and or the Indonesian Banking Authority. As I'am sure you noticed that most countries are on the list. I can tell you that I have sent an email to them asking the same question. I had just received the email yesterday, read and understand the meaning and spam it. It is ok for me. My side just want to buy something, thinking the way out of risk and then they don't want my pocket money. It is a great thing that happened in my life. I rather say I was born in a one place that the environment always changes caused of human beings--up to know that I don't understand is why they labeled our land with "the most fraudulence and piracies" but the other side they open shops,cafes,restaurants, dig and expload our gold,nickel,oil etc.???

Do you mean to tell me because, I do business with one company or why I wont with another that it is advertising?  Nope, its comentary based on personal observations, experience, and more than 25 years of doing global trade. 

Yep, I sure did explain how it works.  The reason?  So that anyone could direct their seller to the page and they could read exactly what it was from someone that has used the service.  then there is one more difference.  I dont work for them.  But you Salvador and a few others claim to work for them directly by your own admission. 

A simple definition to advertising: To call the public's attention to your business, usually for the purpose of selling products or services, through the use of various forms of media, such as print or broadcast notices.

escrow.com is not my business.  I have my own!!!!!   But once again magbaza is your business, so you are advertising!
