Replying to [kikichichi]:the usa is the most powerful country in the world and without china they will still can survive. There are many other countrys that will take over chinas place but not as cheap. I think china will be crushed if America go somewhere else and buy there products.

I guess it is possible to survive without Made in China product. First USA can become an autocratic country and decide to close his doors with the recent events that has occured with Chinese products. On the other hand, refusing a reality of cheap labor goods, is coming back into times.
The only thing that has to be considered it is the fact that the economy must be transformed with high valued goods. Finally it will become a service industry.
Concluding both situation is possible.
The economy has to adapt and they can both work together.

Replying to [Admin]: As a manufacturer in the US this question is irrelevant; as GSP offers become more readily available large manufactures will outsource more and more of their projects to these developing countries as they will either own or have a major influence in how business is done.
Also with economic growth comes inflation which will have an influence; in one sense or other Chinese companies will look elsewhere. (Outsourcing)
At the end of the day it does not matter what country a certain product or service is facilitated as long as it adds to the companies bottom line. What you will see is a truly global economy where as a product is procured strictly off margins; logistics are going to play a huge role along with sales, marketing and administrations.
Most of these things can be moved to an area of lower costs.
Kind Regards,
John Tovatt

My answer is yes,
It sounds like changing a habit of using Made-in-china products.
even though we are proud of our production capacity,I have to say yes.
China is not the unique production country in the world.America also can buy from other developing countries, like India. And India is going for this goal now.
It is said that each American family has some products from China, but not all their needs from China, they also choose home markets or other country.
Since China live expense rise, the cost of products is not so competitive as before. Many company begin to choose other developing country for low the cost, and they have made it.
So The USA can live without Made-in-China products.
