USA can live without "Made in China" but not now.
Chinese products are still cheaper than producing in USA. USA's products cannot competitive with Chinese. However, China enconmy is growing & cost of products is invreasing also. May be few years later, when there are no more cheap Chinese products in USA, then you can see how USA live without Made in China.

They can buy as well from India, Vietnam, Thailand. China is not all the time the most competitive. China do not have all the time the best products at the lowest price.

Because the labour cost in USA is higher than China.a big difference is cost managment.
that's why businessmen preffer to buy cheaper goods from china.

I think most manufactures in china would like to make good products for usa market because of their will to export and earn profit, they must do their best to meet the quality requested by importer or buyer.
And as a consumer, I would like to buy good quality and best price products, as we not consider "expensive equal to the best" so make in china brands can list on our table at home...In fact most china suppliers are more and more smart and have the ability to creat many new and good products for human being. I think to earn the market from all over the world, not only in china, but also from other countries, enterpriser are the same will to running their business,
To get the answer of this, talk to the family one by one from usa, they have had the answer already.

Replying to [Admin]: US is super power and very smart how to develop other low cost country and buy the goods. India, Pakistan and so on are the other delveloping countries who can give them low cost products. Further they can move to under develop and slow developing countries for more cheaper goods.
So for them its not going to have any problem in sourcing low cost goods for their lower income and middle income group consumers.
Now its depend upon China how they will servive and going to do with their industry when US will stop buying goods from them.
China cannot even think that.....................

AS OF NOW AMERICANS ARE LAZY, NOT HARDWORKING LIKE CHINESE OR INDIANS,THEIR COST OF LIVING AND OTHER STANDARDS ARE VERY HIGH THAN THE OTHER WORLD ,IT IS REALLY IMPOSSOBLE FOR THEM TO MANUFACTURE GOODS CHEAPER THAN CHINA/INDIA
