Your words must not describe Chinese,may be Japanese.I totally disagree with you.
Why do you have such image of Chinese?Maybe you visited China twenty years ago or even earlier. China is different now, people accept West Culture both the young and the old. Common people is easy to communicate, even they don't understand English, but they can figure out by your body language. They be eager to communicate with foreigners, they're satisfed by this way.
Chinese people like to make you at home.They even prepare something they haven't contact before to fit your taste.
Sorry for my poor English. I learn English all by watching American TV Serial and movies.

Replying to [Eason]:Don't take it as an offend .I took the text from internet.So,is very simple to have a discussion and make all things clear.What is true or not.
If I need to visit a country i always look for informations in different websites and think that informations they are corect.
This Forum give us the possibility to get right informations from direct sources.
