I take it you are looking just at replacement and not an upgrade.  There are two that top the list.  Actually all you have to think about is what is running constantly all the time while a computer is on or in operation. 

1.  Cooling fans.

2.  Hard Drives

3.  Optical Drive  (However this is only on the list because of PC Gammers)

Because of the everchanging technological break throughs and enhancements to software most computers are obselete within 2 - 3 years making upgrades less cost efficient than buying a new PC.  Actually when dealing with computers it is the peripheral equipment that tends to break down first.

1.  Keyboard

2.  Mouse

3.  Monitor

4.  Printer  -  For printers/copiers anyone can tell you that sells them.  That they are actually rated on the amount of copies or items that can be printed before they need replacement or a rework.

AS per my experience the most replaced parts are :

1. Hard drives
2. video cards
3. memory
3. power supplies
4. Monitor
5.lan cards and modem (mostly damaged by lightening storms)

I usually sell Power more than cpu, memory, maothboard etc.

But in pool power area, power will have a good market.

But for normal use, keyboard and mouse(especial the gamer), and the monitor(LCD), high quality LCD can be used for 3 years, but usually the goods imported from china, for example, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, the quality is not good for use.

if you are asking for "the most" then there would be only one, not some.
but if you need some answer it will be :

1. power supply. this one is the most replaced. but only if you have the cheap one rather than a qualified life time warranty PSU.

2. motherboard, when a PSU get broken, its voltage output become unstable and harm the motherboard chip. mostly the voltage regulator on the motherboard get broken first.

3. Graphic card, well..it will be the first on this list if you are a gamer. high resolution setting will force the card over the limit. and can bring your monitor get on the same position in this list.

4. hard drive, even it has 50 years age maximum. but you will shorten its life time when you have a bad PSU voltage and often formating. its capacitor will melt or motor dis function.

5. CMOS battery, i think the four list above will take to the battery life time.

6. CD/DVD/optical drive. hmmm..i should put this one on the first. mine only takes a month

7. the whole unit . why?? you have been struck by lightning.. thats why.

Replying to [smileplease]: Yes a very good Question and very hard to answer. I self had no part to replace in the last 2 years, but from my experience with customers it is:

1. RAM
2. VGA Card
3. Harddisk

Sure first one is keyboard, then mouse, and display.

 

Usually during 1 year, people will add one memory to their computer.
