Replying to [JOVI]:
Since you started this issue of fasting, let me put the purpose and practice of the fast in Ramadan.
I am sorry to intrude into this religious matter, but this has to be put right. Fasting is a religious practice by both Muslims, Christians and other religious groups to have a purpose of demonstrating one's faith and discipline of one's body.
The Koran teaches one to fast without complaints, with joy and a cheerful attitude, not with a long face or grumblings. This defeats the very purpose and motive to fast, and not to make a fuzz out of a fast.
