Yea, sure Wil, I know the best part of women is their CARING nature, especially buying the beer and keeping it cold (if you are lucky) ...
but why does a woman THINK the world is one big shop, loves shopping, thinks heaven is 6 Louis Vuiton handbags and knows every shop inside out for miles around?
Why a gal THINKS like that is a puzzle to me.
Aussie,
Couldn't tell ya why women think that way. However, I can tell you that there are plenty of women out there who DON'T think that way. God forbid I should EVER HAVE to go clothes shopping! I HATE it. I have been known to go to the store, try on a pair of Dockers and buy 4 of them in different colors. Then I look for a blouse, find one I like and get it in as many colors as I like. As for purses? I carry around a black leather fanny pack that is falling apart.
I am a huge fan of buying at Walmart. Cheap is in for me. I don't go for expensive anything. Even shoes. Dress/work shoes are the one thing that I might spend more than $20.00 on. Even then, I find one shoe I like and get multiple colors of that shoe.
I realize that I am not like the stereotypical female, but I can say that doesn't bother me in the slightest. I really don't even have many girlie girl friends. I just don't relate well to people who would rather shop than go for a hike or go camping.
In other words I understand the kind of women you are talking about very little. None of my immediate female relatives is like that. We could just care less about that sort of thing. Too many other things in life to focus on.
That's it. Just my thoughts and experiences.
