To use the EMAIL advertising, you MUST be articulate in your language. This form of advertising was discussed at lengths by DETRONICS, AUZZIE, and some others in the Forum with earlier segmentation.

As we discussed, the salient points for good ads are:

• Benefits to the customer
• Price comparison
• Delivery
• Quality and brand
• Functions and features
• Aesthetics
• Celebs references

The email is a form of mass mailing that has the lowest return rate, most of the mails die off without being open. This is due to the high incidences of virus infection through the emails. To use this low cost tool of advertisement, you have to firstly establish a rapport with the receiver, or you are already acquainted with the receiver. In E-Marketing there is a method called the "OPT OUT" method, where the receiver has the option to refuse your mails. If this opt-out is not invoked, the receiver accepts the mail.

It will be easier for you to work with the existing customers through the emails. They know you and are more likely to open the mails. Use sales gimmicks such as "lucky draws" or gifts to best customer, and get feedbacks from customers regarding their views about your company, the products and how they feel after buying and using your product.
